Richard Holmes is a seasoned Florida artist whose work reflects a lifetime of observing, appreciating, and celebrating the beauty found in everyday life. Through vivid landscapes, detailed portraits, and heartfelt scenes of ordinary people, Richard captures moments that are often overlooked yet deeply meaningful.

Influenced by Florida's rich artistic heritage and inspired by his father-in-law's connection to the legendary Florida Highwaymen tradition, Richard developed his own distinctive style characterized by vibrant colors, remarkable detail, and authentic storytelling. His paintings evoke the warmth of Florida sunsets, the charm of rural communities, and the simple grace of daily living.

For decades, Richard created art primarily for the joy of the process and the people closest to him. Encouraged by his wife Beverly—his greatest supporter and constant source of inspiration—he is now sharing his collection with a wider audience for the first time.

Richard's work is a reflection of who he is: genuine, humble, hardworking, and deeply connected to the people and places that have shaped his life. Through every painting and drawing, he invites viewers to slow down, appreciate the beauty around them, and reconnect with the stories that make a place feel like home.
